SyncGuard is a read only watchdog for Shopify stores that sync orders into QuickBooks Online. Once a day has finished, it checks that every paid order placed that day actually arrived in QuickBooks, and emails you if one is missing. It runs automatically every hour, so a finished day is checked soon after it closes.
SyncGuard never writes to QuickBooks and never changes anything in your Shopify store. It only reads the two systems and reports what it finds.
SyncGuard is for Shopify merchants who already use a sync app or integration to push their orders into QuickBooks Online, and who currently have no way of knowing when one of those orders silently fails to arrive.
Getting started takes three steps. Install SyncGuard from the Shopify App Store, connect it to QuickBooks Online in one click, and set the email address you want alerts sent to. From there SyncGuard runs on its own, checking every hour, and there is also a Run check now button inside the app for an on demand check that covers today and yesterday.
